A slice of homemade apple pie is around 410 calories and 19 grams of fat. A homemade “baked apple” sprinkled with cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar and microwaved at 70% power until tender (about 3 minutes) is only 78 calories and 1 gram of fat. You win by saving 303 calories and 19 grams of fat.
