Q: How much of every type of food do I need to eat? Can I follow the plan if I’m a vegetarian?

Expert Samantha B. Cassetty, M.S., R.D., Nutritional Director, GHRI answers two important diet questions.

Sam says: While following the 7 Years Younger weight-loss plan, you don’t have to worry about daily servings and portion sizes – I’ve worked it all out for you. I designed the plan with an array of tastes and textures borrowed from different cuisines so that every time you sit down to eat, you’ll discover delicious flavor in satisfying portions. I know you’ll enjoy the results: if you follow the plan to a T, you can expect to lose the unwanted pounds that may have crept on over the years, and the diet will help you improve your overall looks and health. But even if you don’t choose to follow my suggested menu, you can still get substantial improvements in how you look and feel.
