Im a work in progress, and I think sometimes that work can get halted, says Diane, a stay-at-home mom to two young kids who also takes care of her disabled father. She has been following the 7YY Anti-Aging Plan since its inceptionmostly to help her stress less, eat better and sleep morebut like with many big projects, Dianes attention to herself started off strong, then faded. Feeling the need to reenergize herselfshes preparing to enter the workforce againthe advertising professional was most eager to learn how to cover up her rosacea (but was open to other youth-boosting makeup tricks as well). Right now, if it doesnt happen in 5 minutes, it just doesnt happen. These Mini-Makeovers helped Diane look younger:
- Less Redness: Using a clear makeup primer before a more opaque foundation evened out both the texture and tone of Dianes skina big issue for those with rosacea.
- Bigger, Brighter Lips: Instead of a neutral lipstick with a matte finish, the Laura Geller Makeup pros applied a brighter color with a little shinethe reflective quality gives the illusion of fullness.
Dianes Reaction: I feel pretty and glamorous! Its amazing what putting a little more thought into your makeup can do.
The Tip Shell Take With Her: Shes going to keep getting the long layers the stylist added to give her thick, heavy hair has more bounce. I love that she gave it movement, but kept the length, so I can still pull it back.
