Heres how to accentuate your jawline and use products that catch light in all the right places. Your face will look shapelierand your skin more radiantin no time.
Base layer Start with your base of choice: a liquid foundation, BB cream or tinted moisturizer will even out your skins tone and texture. I like something with a little luminosity, because it softens any lines, says celebrity makeup artist Joanna Schlip. Make sure you go all the way down to your neck (beneath your jawline), and behind your ears; this will catch all sagging skin to even out your canvas.
Add bronzer Once your foundation is dry, lightly brush a matte bronzer thats two shades darker than your skin tone in a 3 shape along one side of your face: starting in the middle of your forehead, take it along the hairline; bring it down underneath the cheekbone; pull it out again; and then brush it beneath the jawbone. (You want to see contour, but if the line is too defined, buff the edge by going over it with your brush, in a circular motion.) Repeat on the other side. This will give your face the illusion of a more chiseled structure, says Schlip, while adding depth.
Rosy glow Now, finish with a bright but soft blush in a shade like poppy, coral or pink. Smile first, then place blush only on the apple of your cheek, using fingers to rub it inbut not out. You want to keep the brightness concentrated there, for that lifting effect, says Schlip.
